Nicolina is lawyer, who has developed expertise in many areas of commercial and family law. Having practicised law in regional Victoria, Nicolina's particular expertise and interest to date has mainly focused upon civil litigation, business law, debt recovery, defamation, Probate and Estate matters, and Testator Family maintenance claims.

Nicolina regularly appears for parties at the Federal Magistrates Court in divorce applications, and at the Family Violence Division of the Magistrates Court in for clients seeking and contesting Intervention Orders. She has regularly appeared at VCAT on behalf of family members who are seeking guardianship and/or administration in respect of a family member who is unable to make decisions on their own behalf.

Nicolina graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in German language and literature. She was admitted to practice in early 2008, and since then has appeared in all jurisdictions; including the Supreme Court of Victoria, County Court of Victoria, Federal Magistrates' Court, Family Court of Australia, VCAT and the Magistrates' Court of Victoria.
